Flood is the 2023 Architizer Vision Awards Studio Winner in the Long Form Video category

Flood has won the 2023 Architizer Vision Awards Studio Winner in the Long Form Video (more than 3 minutes) category for Middleton Lane, a boutique collection of premium apartments in Melbourne's coveted Domain precinct.

The Architizer Vision Awards is a global awards program with entries from over 50 countries, that celebrates the art of architectural representation and media, and honors the talented teams and individuals that enable the world to envision amazing architecture through photography, drawings, renderings, film and more.

Flood’s winning film for Middleton Lane showcases the design of seminal architects Wood Marsh, who imbued the project with ideas of timeless aesthetics, art and luxury. The film features stunning cinematography, 3D animation, and atmospheric sound design that captured the building’s considered aesthetic within Melbourne’s tightly held Domain Precinct. The film highlights the bespoke details, textural qualities and considered materiality of the project, as well as a subtle narrative approach that required a measured, meditative response - reflected in the stillness and careful compositions achieved in both 3d animated interiors and aerial footage of this very special Melbourne location.

Flood’s director Daniel Flood said: “We are thrilled and honored to receive this prestigious award from Architizer. It is a recognition of our passion and dedication to creating visual experiences and films of exceptional complexity and beauty that are truly world class. We are grateful to our client Time & Place, collaborators and team members who made this project possible.”

The winning video will be premiered in Architizer’s Architecture Film Fest, a unique online event that showcases the best architectural films from around the world.
